Pinsa, pronounced “peen-sa”, literally translates to “Push the Dough by Hands”. Pinsa originated in Rome and is known for its Cloud-like Interior and Crispy Exterior which leads to a crunchy, yet soft bite.
Our San Marzano Margherita Pinzza starts with our Authentic Italian-Imported Crust that's topped with what you expect from Urban Pie - flavor-forward ingredients like Burrata, Mozzarella and Provolone cheeses, fresh basil, and San Marzano Tomatoes. Others may claim 'Pinsa,' but after one bite of Urban Pie Pinzza, you'll see the difference for Yourself.
Sometimes, aged dough just tastes better. And that couldn’t be more clear with our Pinzza. This longer fermentation helps lead to the bubbles inside the crust that make this eating experience like no other.
Our crust couldn’t be more authentic. Not only does it use traditional ingredients, and the hand-pressed technique that gives a Pinsa its name, but our crust is imported from Italy. From Italy, to your table.
Urban Pie is all about defying frozen pizza expectations through unique flavor combinations. In this case we use ingredients like burrata cheese, whole roasted garlic cloves, and a San Marzano marinara sauce.
From crust, to flavors, to ingredients – Urban Pie will have you questioning what frozen pizzas and appetizers can deliver.
