Lakeview pizza is named after the greatest Lake, Lake Michigan. Ok, maybe Lake Michigan is not actually coined the greatest but it’s connected to our hometown, so we have a certain amount of love. Capturing this culinary neighborhood meant combining the renaissance of new flavor meeting old world craftsmanship. We started out with a sun-dried tomato sauce offered as an opulent combination with tomatoes, basil and garlic. We then added mozzarella and provolone but with gouda to balance out the astringent nature of spinach and really allow the sauce to shine through. Finally, as any native Chicagoan will attest, sausage had to be added, so the Lakeview Pizza finishes off with sun-dried tomato chicken sausage and yellow peppers.

Do not thaw or eat pizza before baking. Remove pizza from all packaging and bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown. Ovens may vary, so please rely on appearance. For a softer crust, bake the pizza on an oven -proof pan.
